Shake of the Month: Mango Mojito
1 tbsp caster sugar
½ lime
¼ mango
10 fresh mint leaves
30ml white rum (or 30ml soda water, for a mocktail)
Additional soda water to top the glass
60ml Aloe Mango
Simply blend the mango and the Aloe Mango together until it’s smooth like a puree.
Cut your lime into quarters and add to a glass with your caster sugar. Crush them together with a muddler until the lime juice is released.
With the mint leaves on your palm, clap your hands together a few times to release the mint flavour, then drop them into your glass.
Add the blended mango puree and the rum (or the soda water, if you’re making a mocktail), then top your glass with crushed ice and soda water. Be sure to give everything a really good mix.
Garnish your glass with a lime wedge and enjoy your drink with a straw!
